Tuesday Mayhew
Ms. Mayhew began her professional ballet training at age 7 when she became a student at the academy of Ballet Internationale. She trained under such teachers as Vladilen Semenov, Irina Kolpakova, Tatiana Pali, Alyona Yakovleva and Eldar Aliev.
In 2004 she attended the Youth America Grand Prix Competition and placed first in classical and third in contemporary at the junior regional level. In 2005 she placed first in classical and third in contemporary at the senior level and was invited to the national competition in New York. While there, she placed top 12 and was named Grishko model for 2005.
After graduating from the Russian Ballet Academy of Indiana, Ms. Mayhew became a trainee at the Milwaukee Ballet. In 2007 she returned to join the Indiana Ballet Company, where she danced her first lead role as Christine in Alyona Yakovleva's Phantom of the Opera, followed by the principal role of "The Beloved" in From Shakespeare with Love. This is her third season with the company.
